Cheryl Sutton

Cheryl Sutton is the Interim President and Vice-Chancellor of Nipissing University. She first joined the institution in 2010 as Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations, and in 2014, took on the role of Assistant Vice-President, Finance and Human Resources. Prior to being appointed Interim President in July 2020, she served as Vice-President, Finance and Administration.

Sutton currently serves on multiple boards including the University Health Insurance Plan Steering Committee (since 2011) and the Faculty Bargaining Services advisory committee (since 2019). She is also the current board chair of Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca and has been a board member since 2015.
