Police Vulnerable Sector Check Requirements

Year 1 Consecutive / Year 5 Concurrent

All candidates entering years one or five of the BEd program in September 2020 must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) with an issue date of April 1, 2020 or later, to the Practicum Office by noon on August 20, 2020. Failure to do so will result in a $75 late fee and the possible cancellation of the practicum. Cancelled practicum must be made up in its entirety and will be rescheduled at the discretion of the Practicum Office, causing a delay in program completion/graduation. A $425 administrative fee will apply in these cases. Exceptions to the deadline will not be made. Click here for full requirements.

School board assignments will be made in early July. Teacher candidates assigned to one of the following school boards must follow the processes outlined below.

All candidates entering years two or six of the BEd program in September 2020 must provide an acceptable Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) with an issue date of May 1, 2020, or later, to the Practicum Office by noon on September 25, 2020 500 Internal Server Error
